Food Stamps: The easiest way to apply for food stamps is to either go online, or go into the DHS building in downtown Bend to fill out an application in person. There are certain requirements in deciding if you can receive benefits or not. It all depends of your income and also your household count ( # of people). The process is just a matter of filling out paperwork online or in person, then waiting for a verdict. Usually for 1 person, the maximum amount of money is $189.

How do I get food stamps?

Food Kitchen: if you are looking for a hot meal, then the family kitchen is a great place to go. They offer great lunches and dinners. They also provide a shower truck that comes to the church to provide a nice warm shower.
