Public Bus System: if you don’t have a car or you’re tired of biking/walking and need to get somewhere. The bus is a great cheap/reliable way of transportation. There are a lot of bus stops all over the city. It also go’s to routes that go to other cities in Deschutes County. Check online for maps or pick up a map from the transit center.

DMV: Department of Motor Vehicles is the place you need to go if you are looking to get a driver’s license. For a learning permit you must be at least 15 years of age, and for a normal license, you must be 16. There is a written test and also a driving test. There are also fees that must be paid to get the license.
